Sadly it appears to be MS only. It would be nice to make this clearer. Apple's textutil program seems to have stopped allowing conversion of PDF to text.

the only problem is that I had to convert a pdf hebrew file into text and it didn't recognize the caracters so it wasn't useful for me but I am sure that with latin caracters it works finethank You for giving me the chance to let You know

need command line interface I need a command line interface for what i am trying to accomplish, and i was unable to determine if your pdf2text had one (no documentation, and the tool behaved the same whether parameters were passed on the command line or not -- a GUI popup appears). That being the case, this tool is not helpful for my specific task.

Good but expensive I need to convert PDF files to text in order to index them in a full text search module of a c# Winforms application. It appears to be a useful program, but I am still trying to figure it out. I is a bit complicated and there is not much help available. Hopefully with some time I can figure it out through trial and error.

It took me a while to figure out how it works, but works totally fine after all.

I am still trying to learn how to use Textaizer Pro. Without detailed instructions I find it hard to do so I will reserve my comments until after I have completed a project.

Nice Program but I\'m still trying it :-)

I found it to be very hard to understand and there was no help file to guide me.I was trying to make animation for my web site but this program was too hard for me to use without help.

Once in a blue moon Install opened the program and I tried to get my file into it. Finally shut it down, then opened the file I was trying to convert and printed to the e-PDF printer. Worked like a champ.Only need to do something like this once every 2-3 years. It just isn't cost effective to have to buy software like this.
